Anyways, for this post I want to share to you the gift that I gave to Shebby of ShebbyChic for her birthday!
I had been a fan of Shebby's since I saw her video on the 1st Etude House Pink Artiste search and was so happy to hear the news that she won on the 2nd Etude House Pink Artiste Search.
I spent almost ( i forgot how many weeks ) for this and was so happy with the final result (especially because Shebby liked it).

Sorry for the lack of post this weekend. I had been out of town because of our company's outing. Didn't bring laptop cause I don't want to add more weight in my heavy baggage.
Anyhoo, We went to Club Punta Fuego located at Nasugbu, Batanggas. We spent almost three hours travel time just to get to the place. Before going to Punta Fuego we had our brunch first in La Trobada Restaurant in Tagaytay City. The view of Taal lake while having our brunch was spectacular.

Hi everyone. Today's lipstick is one of the six lipstick which was given to me by my Ninong as a "pasalubong" when he got home last week. :)
I'm not familiar with Inglot. This was the first time I heard about it and I haven't seen this brand here in the Philippines. It's funny how this brand reminds me of Iglot, the drama series which was aired in GMA Telebabad.

I love the sleek black metal packaging of this lipstick. Makes it look classic and expensive. :)
Oh how I love receiving gifts. I know that it's better to give than to receive but I can't deny the excitement and happiness it brings me every time I receive something special.
Today, my Ninong who just got home yesterday from Oman gave me this train case together with some lipsticks and eye shadow (i'll be posting a separate blog post for that) as a late birthday gift.
The train case color is black. Although i'm not fond with the color, I like the way that it's very professional looking. It makes me also look like a professional. ~~Chos. :D
This train case is more sturdy, much bigger and more durable than my old train case (click the link if you want to see my other train case) but it's also heavier. Right now, I think they have the same weight (my old one having lots of makeups and the new one who has nothing inside). I also like that my new train case has a body strap.

This is one of my most favorite shade in my lipstick colection. I use this whenever I feel. I describe it as my perfect every day pink lipstick, not too shocking and not too nude. Just right.

- A what-you-see-is-not-what-you-get lipstick. It's suppose to be a peachy orange lipstick but when swatched on my lips, it turned reddish pink. (is it just my lips?)
- Staying power is not that good. Is it because it's a moisturizing lipstick?
- Has a bitter taste :(
- Doesn't dry out my lips
- nice packaging though.

During our field trip in Cebu, we happened to stop by at Gaisano Mall in Mactan, Cebu where we had our dinner before we head back to Manila. We have ample of time so I decided to roam around the cosmetics area and was wondering around what souvenir I could get for myself.
I checked all the unfamiliar stall( Stalls that I think was unavailable in Manila) there I saw Oseur`. I checked out their lipstick and swatched some as well. I immediately liked this one.

- A sheer cherry red lipstick
- not drying on the lips
- doesn't need to apply lip balm underneath
- affordable for less than 100 Pesos
What I Don't Like
- the lipstick is soft and can easily melt or break.

Yes, if I happened to find one here in manila. :)

Sample Cleansers Saves My Day (Kiehl's Clearly Corrective White Cleanser and Toner)

And so, If you read my post on my facebook page. You'll know that my sister and I had suffered from pimples these past days because of our expired bar cleanser.
We only bought that cleanser 2 weeks ago then lately we realize it's expired because of its super foul smell.
I had no face cleanser to use this time and I couldn't drop by the mall to buy some because of my busy schedule. Good thing I remembered I have this samples stored in my drawer. I never tried using it before because I still have my facial cleanser and I just want to finish it first before trying out another one.
I had been using Kiehl's Purifying Foam Cleanser and Clarity-Activating Toner for 1 week now, and I can say that my skin is really loving it. I use it day and night and I noticed that my skin is soft, smooth and less oily when I wake up plus it didn't break me out, meaning I had no pimples or acne or whatsoever.
What I Love About It <3
- made my skin less oily, soft and smooth
- my skin felt very hydrated, dry patches on my skin are gone
- doesn't break me out
What I Don't Like
- the cleanser smells like coppertone sunblock but it doesn't bother me too much.
- Can't find where to buy it

Ellana Minerals are the first cosmetic brand I collected since the start of my makeup collection.
Why? because, I'm a college student with a very limited budget and only Ellana Mineral Makeups are the one I could afford.
But Hey! there are also plenty local makeup brands that sells inexpensive makeup but why I chose Ellana?
first It's mineral. that time I still don't know a lot about makeups and I don't want to take the risk of ruining my skin.
second, its super inexpensive. Their makeup range starting from P100 - P420 and I tell you, a little goes a long way.
third, they give free samples. Just fill up the forms in their website and pay the shipping fee. The free samples consist of ( 3 Mineral Foundation, Mineral Finishing Powder, Mineral Powder Blush).
So moving on to their blushes:

- it's inexpensive fulfillment and flirtation (1g cost only P100) and Kitten (2.5g cost P180)
- A little goes a long way, very pigmented
- It's paraben-free
- Many variety of shades to choose
- it gives a very natural glow/finish
What I think you'll hate at this blushes:
- messy application sometimes. :D
My Overall Final Verdict:
I'm very much in love with this brushes. it didn't broke me out unlike other blushes, gives me a nice glow which is good, and inexpensive.
Will I repurchase this?
Yes of course.. After I purchase Kitten I'm now currently eyeing on Fettish.

Just wanna share this pretty single eyeshadow I received last Monday from my officemate.
Ok, so moving on the eyeshadow. well, It's my first eyeshadow from NYX and I really really L-O-V-E it.
Its a golden brown color that has shimmers. Perfect for everyday if you want to add some color on your eyelids.
I am really amazed how pigmented and velvetty this eyeshadow is. It's not like my regular eyeshadow
Will I buy this eyeshadow? Of Course, now I'm planning to buy NYX palettes because of this. :D
So what is more stressful than stress? For me it's pimples.
I can tolerate stress but not when it comes to the point that I will look so wasted or in Filipino term " NGARAG" . hehehe.
In my line of work, stress is inevitable and these freaking pimple keeps showing up like mushrooms. Good thing I just have to deal with them for a day.
My Secret? I use panOxyl Acne gel 10% to dry my pimples fast.
PanOxyl Acne gel are available in 2.5%, 5% and 10%. I use 10% cause I think 2.5% and 5% will have no effect on me. But I suggest you consult your dermatologist first on what % should you take. :D
According to Albanyst Pharmacy. PanOxyl acne gel has an active ingredient called
Benzoyl peroxide which are commonly used as acne treatment.
PanOxyl based on its product description helps to:
- Reduce the bacteria or germs which are implicated in acne
- Reduce the number of acne spots or pimples
- Stop new blackheads, whiteheads and spots from forming
- Makes your skin less oily
What PanOxyl really does to my face:
- dries pimply fast as in overnight fast. <3
- really reduces my acne scars. except for those that I popped. (LESSON: never ever pop your pimples.
How I apply it?
I apply it at night after cleansing or removing the dirt and makeup from my face.
I apply a pea size amount, ONLY at my pimple overnight. I would sometimes feel a stinging something but nevertheless that would indicate me that the product is working. Then I should wake up in the morning with dried pimples. HURRAHH!!!

Last Tuesday (June 19, 2012) I received the eye shadows that I oredered in MakeupHolics. Ms. Melanie, the owner of the shop is very accommodating and very nice. She also suggested me to buy the disco palette since the first palette I ordered was out of stock.
OK Let's Move on to the Product. . .
