I was walking with my girlfriends (Patty and Sachie) last time when I spotted this.
It was really love at first swatch and I can't stop talking about it.
I know I need to get my hands on this product but I don't know when.
You see, I blog about makeups and all but I don't want to use all my hard earned money buying makeups that I know, will end up getting dusty in my vanity, even though it's a good product.
Good thing during our Christmas Party last year, we were able to list all gifts (which seriously I only had one that time and this is it) we liked to receive and my secret Santa is generous enough to grant me my wish.
The Canmake Marshmallow Finish Powder
Mine was bought at Somera in Glorietta for Php 680
According to the website it is a finishing powder that :
- Creates the perfect sweet-looking face that's soft and light as a marshmallow! (it makes my skin look as if it was edited on Photoshop! Amazed!! )
- Achieve a matte finish that conceals pores and hides any unevenness in your complexion (True!! I don't even need to use a concealer and a primer)
- A face powder for finishing your foundation and touching up your make-up through the day. Handy pressed formulation that's easy to carry in your bag.
- Additive-free mineral formulation that's kind to your skin and can be removed with ordinary facial wash (I don't know if it's just me, but every time I remove my makeup at night, my face feels silky smooth. Plus I love that I don't have to use any special makeup remover to remove this)
- Formulation that prevents make-up wearing off due to shininess, dullness or dryness (This is true! my face appears more brighter and less dull the moment I apply it, it also keeps my oil at bay for the whole day)
- Contains 10 beautifying agents to prevent skin becoming rough and dry.
- Moisturizing Agents - Aloe vera leaf extract, rosemary extract, chamomile extract, lemon extract
- Toning Agents - Horse chestnut extract, perilla (shiso) leaf extract
- Emollient Agents - Squalane, olive oil, jojoba oil, grape seed oil
The packaging
Can we just stop for a while and just appreciate how lovely this packaging is~
I can literally shout "Moon Power Makeup" right now! (Ok. I'm fangirling again).
Mine has a limited edition packaging hence that little pink stones in the sides. I really liked the packaging but I don't know if it will last long since I don't feel it is sturdy enough to survive my makeup bag and I also feel that the pink stones will come off easily :(
The powder is well milled. I liked using it alone since I don't have a lot of blemishes to cover on my face. (poor powder, I was not able to fulfill your destiny of becoming a finishing powder, instead you became my everyday face powder). I also tried setting my concealer using this, and it doesn't cake at all! Oh BTW! my shade is MB, it has a little yellow undertone which make it perfect for Asian skin. There are only 2 shades listed on the website but in the Philippines there are 3. (Hope they add more shades to choose from)
Some uses a powder brush to apply this but I prefer using the applicator that comes with it. I feel that I waste too much product when using a powder brush. The applicator is kinda flimsy but I love how soft it is especially when using it on my face.

Half of my face already has the powder on and I can definitely see how it instantly brightens and evens out my skin. <3

Overall, I am very much impressed with this product. The only problem I can think about is the packaging being flimsy and the limited shades available but nevertheless I am very much happy with product. If ever you will ask if I am going to repurchase it again after I hit pan, my answer will be Y.E.S!! ^_^
